02 / Bring your idea

Custom app
& MVP development.

You bring the idea. We bring the design and development skills to build it with you. From Hermanus, we work with clients across South Africa to shape the scope, explore a prototype, and build a useful first version.

A rough thought is a perfectly good place to start.

Ideas come in all shapes

What would you
like to make possible?

It could be a new product, a useful tool, or a better way to do something you already do.

Something for your customers.

An easier way to interact with your business, find information, or use a service.

A better way to work.

A tool that helps your team organise information or simplify a process that takes too much effort.

Your next venture.

A digital product built around a problem you understand and people you want to help.

Give the idea room to grow

From an idea
to a useful first app.

An MVP, or minimum viable product, is a working first version with the core features people need. We help you choose that scope, build it, and learn from how people use it.

Before building, a prototype can help you explore the screens and how the app will work. Together, we agree on the design, features, development milestones, and launch plan. Customer tools, internal business apps, and new digital products can all start this way.

Three questions worth asking

01

Who is it for?

The people, their situation, and what they’re trying to do.

02

What does it make better?

The specific problem and what a useful result would look like.

03

What should we build first?

The smallest sensible scope that delivers something useful.

An interest in the outcome

Your idea.
A shared ambition.

Our value-sharing approach can connect what SunCore earns to the value the work helps create. We explore whether it’s a good fit and agree how it works before building.

Fixed project fees and hourly work are also options. You can choose a straightforward paid engagement.

Find the right approach

You’re part of the process

We build it with you.

Your knowledge and feedback shape the work from the first conversation to the first launch.

  1. 01

    Talk it through.

Your business, your idea, your people. We start by understanding what matters.

  2. 02

    Shape the plan.

Together, we agree on the first scope, the way we work, and the right pricing approach.

  3. 03

    Build together.

See the work take shape, share feedback, and make decisions along the way.

  4. 04

    Launch & improve.

Get it into people’s hands. Learn from what happens and agree on the next step.

No perfect pitch required

You can come
with questions, too.

Can you develop my app if I’m based elsewhere?

Yes. We work with clients anywhere in South Africa. We can explore your idea in online meetings, share prototypes and working versions, and review progress together through launch. We agree on meeting times that suit our locations. If you’re near Hermanus, face-to-face meetings can also be arranged.

What if I don’t know how it would work?

That’s a good reason to talk. Explain the situation, the people involved, and what you wish were easier. We can explore how a website or app could help.

Do I need technical knowledge?

No. You bring your understanding of the problem and the people it affects. We’ll talk through the technical choices in plain language and make decisions together.

Does every idea qualify for value sharing?

No. We need a suitable project and an agreed way to define and measure the value created. Fixed project fees and hourly work are also available.

Can we start small?

Yes. We aim to identify a useful first version with a focused scope. It gives people something real to use and gives us a basis for deciding what comes next.

What happens during discovery?

We explore the problem, audience, requirements, and technical feasibility, then outline a possible first scope. The extent and any cost of discovery are agreed before that work begins.

A good place to start

Let’s hear your “what if”.

Tell us what you wish existed, or what you think could work better. We can start there.
