Value sharing, fixed fees & hourly work
We’re interested in the value we can create together. That’s why SunCore offers value sharing for websites, apps and AI integrations, alongside fixed project fees and hourly work.
Three ways to work together.
One conversation to find the right fit.
Value sharing means agreeing on a way for SunCore to share in the value our work helps create.
It starts with a useful outcome and a way to measure it. We explore whether the approach fits your project, then agree on the responsibilities and commercial details together.
Explore a partnershipSuitability and terms are assessed for each project.
What result are we working towards?
How will we know what value was created?
How are fees calculated, paid, and reviewed?
What are the duration, ownership, and exit terms?
An example of the calculation
We first agree which value the project is expected to create, how to measure it, and what portion SunCore will receive.
Suppose we agree that the value to measure is additional revenue attributable to the project, and SunCore’s share is 5%. If that agreed measure is R20,000 for a month, the share for that month would be R1,000.
Illustration only, not a quote or standard rate. The percentage, baseline, attribution, reporting, duration, and any upfront or ongoing fees are agreed for each project. Revenue is only one possible measure of value.
Discuss what fits your projectFamiliar options, too
You can engage SunCore on a fixed fee or hourly basis. We make room for the way you want to work.

Clear expectations from the start
Whichever approach we choose, the proposal needs to explain what each side is agreeing to.
Value sharing does not automatically mean free development, zero upfront costs, or equity. The actual arrangement is agreed for your project.
Let’s make it clear
Still figuring out what would work for you? Start with the project. We can discuss the options together.
No. Fixed project fees and hourly work are available. We’ll discuss the project and agree on an approach that works for both sides.
That isn’t automatic. Discovery, an initial build fee, and ongoing charges may form part of an arrangement. Any costs must be set out and agreed before work begins.
Value sharing does not automatically mean equity. Any equity, revenue share, or other arrangement would need to be discussed and explicitly agreed. They are different models.
There is no published standard percentage or rate here. The scope, responsibilities, costs, and commercial arrangement need to be discussed before a proposal can be made.
We discuss the effect on the work, timing, and price before committing to the change. The proposal should make the change process clear.
These are separate decisions in the scope. The proposal should identify any ongoing services, who provides them, and what they cost.
Ownership, access, handover, duration, review points, and what happens when the arrangement ends are discussed and recorded before work begins.
